Mrs. Tritt I am thrilled to be teaching Math and Science this year. I was born and raised in Katy and I graduated from Texas A&M University. This will be my 17th year teaching in Katy ISD. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. My husband and I have twins (Taylor & Brian) who are in 5th grade at OKE and we have a sweet black lab puppy named Polly(I will have lots of silly stories to share about her). I love to read, paint, and go to the beach in my free time! I’m excited to get to know you and your family this year!

This will be my 13th year teaching at OKE. I taught 4th grade, ESL, and back to 4th grade. I’ve also taught in Tennessee and Massachusetts. I’ve been married for 34 years and have 3 children: Sam, Maggie, and Will. I love spending time with my family and enjoy biking, running, cooking, and gardening! My husband and I are also co-parenting my daughter’s dog, Bo! I love OKE because of the staff, families, and students. It’s a great place to be, and I look forward to another year in the Outback!

Hi friends! I teach Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. This is my first year at OKE, and I’m so excited to be joining the OKE family. I grew up in Arlington, TX and moved to Houston after college (Texas A&M - Gig 'Em!). I love to travel and, most importantly, to read! I am always reading a book in my spare time. I’ve been an editor and children’s librarian before finally making my way to the classroom to be YOUR teacher! We are going to have such a fun and fabulous year together!

G’Day, 4th grade Koalas! I am psyched to dive into reading and writing! I grew up in Central Texas, but after graduating from Texas A&M, I made my way to Katy. I recently got married during the quarantine over Zoom! My husband and I live with our twins, Thurgood (yes, like Marshall!) and Tallulah. They will be starting 2nd grade this year here at OKE. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, drinking coffee before bed, and I love, love, love all things history. In 2020 fashion, I believe that this year will be nothing short of extraordinary. I look forward to being your teacher and learning so much about you!

I grew up in Houston, TX playing softball, volleyball, singing country music and doing musical theater. I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington and my Master’s in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from California State University. I have always loved animals, especially dogs, and have never been without a fur baby to love. I’ve owned dogs, cats, hamsters, horses and competed in rabbit shows where I once had a Grand Champion Holland Lop bunny. This is my 23rd year in education but my very 1st in Katy ISD. I’ve taught in 3 states; North Carolina, California and Texas in grades K – 5. I’ve even taught choral music and musical theater for a Visual and Performing Arts school in Los Angeles. I’m very passionate about the arts in education and once won an award given by the LA County Music Center for integrating arts into my regular classroom lessons. I’ve been married for 14 years and have 2 kids. My daughter, Natalie, will be entering 7th grade at Adams Jr High and my son, Matthew, will be in 2nd grade here at OKE!! I’m so excited to be a teacher & parent Kilpatrick Koala. I know it’s going to be a fantastic year!
